Be a Paid Pollworker at an Upcoming Neighborhood Council Election

Interested in being a poll worker for the 2019 Neighborhood Council elections? You are invited to apply if you meet the following requirements:

– Are at least 18 years of age by Election Day
– Speak, read, and write English (Bilingual skills a plus)
– Attend a mandatory training session
– Provide your own transportation and cell phone
– Accept the City Clerk’s poll worker assignment (location)
– Can commit to work the entire Election Day

Poll workers will receive a $50 stipend subject to deductions. Poll workers cannot work at a polling site for a NC where they are running as a candidate or have a family member running as a candidate. Applications are due 40 days prior to the Election Day for the region(s) you are applying to work in. You must apply by the stated deadline to be considered. City Clerk’s elections team will process the applications accordingly and contact applicants to schedule them for training.
