The annual Congress of Neighborhoods is the NC system’s largest event of the year. Nearly 900 NC leaders from across LA attended last year, and this year’s event – happening Saturday September 22nd at City Hall – is expected to be even larger!

That’s why it’s important to register to attend now, if you haven’t already, to ensure you get your top workshop choices before they sell out. Visit NCCongressLA.com and click the “Register Here” button to sign up.

Your RSVP includes free parking at City Hall; breakfast; lunch; and your choice of up to 4 of the 30 workshops being offered this year, to discuss timely topics like homelessness and NC reform, or to acquire skills and knowledge on matters like NC legal issues, land use, outreach, or emergency management.

Volunteers needed Friday & Saturday, September 21-22

The Congress Planning Committee would also like to request your help setting up the day before, or helping staff the Congress on event day. All volunteers receive free parking at City Hall, and the commitment is just for a 3 hour time block on Friday, or a 4 hour time block Saturday. Roles include prepping the equipment and chairs in workshop classrooms; hanging directional signage; assisting attendees with navigating the event (which takes place on several different floors of City Hall) or helping with registration.
