On Tuesday, October 23, EmpowerLA and the California School Boards Association are hosting this important event that is designed to help Neighborhood Councils come together to learn about and discuss issues and opportunities related to education, youth, and our local schools. Speakers include Mayor Eric Garcetti’s Office, California School Boards Association, and Neighborhood Council board members. Breakout sessions will be included so we can hear from members of Neighborhood Councils about this topic. Please JOIN US for this much needed discussion!

If your Neighborhood Council is already doing something great for your schools, please submit a brief description (with pictures if possible) and send to Sarah Bradshaw at sbradshaw@csba.org.

To RSVP, please click here.  The event starts at 6:30 pm, but light refreshments will be offered starting at 5:30 pm. The location is the Ronald F. Deaton Auditorium, located at 100 W. 1st Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012. Parking information will be sent after you RSVP. Everyone is welcome!
