The LA Food Policy Council is excited to partner with the Community and Regional Food Systems Project, UC Cooperative Extension-LA County, and LA Alliance for a New Economy‘s Don’t Waste LA campaign to host a special Network Meeting focused on food waste, composting and the Good Food economy.

The evening meeting will feature special guest Will Allen. Allen is a MacArthur Foundation “Genius Grant” recipient and Fellow and the founder and CEO of Growing Power, Inc., a farm and community food center in Milwaukee, with satellite operations in Madison and Chicago, that strives to grow food, to grow minds, and to grow community.
