I hope our newsletter finds you well. If you haven’t registered for the Congress of Neighborhoods on Saturday, September 24th, please click here to do so now. It’ll only take a few minutes. You will not find another opportunity like this to connect with Neighborhood Council board members citywide on issues that are important to your community. Plus, you’ll have a chance to meet with elected officials and department heads as well. There’s great grub and tons of workshops to help you be the best advocate for your neighborhood so don’t miss it!

Speaking of great events, our staff had the opportunity to attend the Los Angeles Digital Government Summit this week to learn about amazing government innovations at the City and County level. The event is produced by Government Technology and the Center for Digital Government, which is always filled with inspiring stories. You can get a free subscription to Government Technology magazine by going to www.govtech.com. Many thanks to our own ITA General Manager, Ted Ross, and his team for helping to organize the event!
