The Mayor and CM Huizar are organizing an event on the Sixth Street bridge on October 3rd! Neighborhood Council members (and community members) are invited. Please feel free to share and check out our Facebook event! This is going to be a very special evening – we hope you can make it.
The current bridge will be demolished in the coming months, and replaced with a $430M Aqueduct, which will be the largest bridge in the history of Los Angeles! Before that happens, we’ll be shutting down the bridge for the community and screening the film GREASE, which was partially filmed in the LA River directly below the bridge.  To celebrate this beloved piece of our City’s infrastructure, join us on October 3rd at 7PM for GREASE!

Doors open at 6 PM
General Admission tickets are $20.00
Children under 12, Seniors, Students are $10
Free popcorn and cotton candy!
There will be food trucks selling food and a cash bar.
Proceeds go to benefit the LA River.  Get your tickets now!

Tickets can be purchased at sixthstreet.eventbrite.com
