On May 31, the community of Highland Park came together to play a couple of games of softball. The day was full of music, food, home runs and lots and lots of fun. Everyone was invited to play no matter the age.
Northeast Area LAPD Captain Bert and his gang unit participated in the fun and were incredible, especially with the youngest players. Also in attendance was LAPD Commissioner Sandra Figueroa, Central Bureau Commander Robert Arcos, and Staff from CD1 and CD14.
“We are working hard to build partnerships and bridges with the community and LAPD” said Monica Alcaraz, President of the HHPNC, she went on to say “this event was very well received and just a great way to bring our community together.”
