Hollywood Hills West NC President Anastasia Mann was among those named “Heroes of Hollywood” by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce Community Foundation. The 2016 Heroes will be recognized during the Heroes of Hollywood Awards Luncheon at the Taglyan Cultural Complex on May 11th. Besides Mann, 2016 Heroes include Jeff Briggs, founder of Briggs Law; Jackie Lawson, Neighborhood Prosecutor, Hollywood Division, City Attorney’s Office; Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, not-for-profit pediatric health care provider; and the Gilmore Family, pioneer developers of The Original Farmer’s Market at 3rd and Fairfax.

The reception begins at 11 a.m. with champagne and hors d’oeuvres, followed by the luncheon and awards presentation at 12 p.m. This pivotal event will highlight both individuals and organizations that are true heroes in the Hollywood community. Honorees are chosen for their outstanding achievements within their industry as well as their commitment to community service. Net proceeds from this event benefit local Hollywood nonprofit organizations and are distributed throughout the year in the form of grants by the Community Foundation. The event attracts over 300 Hollywood business, civic, and community leaders to attend. Returning in his role as emcee again is Robert Kovacik, anchor and reporter of NBC4 Southern California.
