The Hollywood Studio District Neighborhood Council will be carrying their banner in the LA Pride/Christopher Street West Parade this June. The Neighborhood Council invites all other Los Angeles Neighborhood Councils and their committee members to join them. It’s almost May, so make sure your board votes on participation and/or funding quickly!

Christopher Street West Association, Inc. is a non-profit organization committed to the goals of human rights, education, outreach and better understanding within the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender communities, as well as the broader community. CSW was formed in 1970, producing the first Pride Parade in the world celebrating the 1969 Stonewall Rebellion in New York City.

Today CSW, under the direction of an all-volunteer Board of Directors, brings together the skills, talents, and vision of our diverse community to produce the annual LA PRIDE Celebration in the City of West Hollywood.

For more information on the event, visit the Christopher Street West website. For parade and festival details and to find out more about volunteering and participating, contact Don Durkee, co-chair of the HSDNC Outreach Committee.
