Mayor Eric Garcetti, the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority, the County of Los Angeles Homeless Initiative, and United Way of Greater Los Angeles invite you to the second large Homeless Service Professionals Job Fair of Los Angeles.

Due to the significant increase in funding from Measure H to fund homelessness services, there are over 1,000 open positions across the homeless service delivery system in the L.A. area.

We will have at the job fair over 40 employers from throughout the L.A. region who are hiring for these positions, which include:

  • Direct Service / Entry Level: case managers, outreach workers, housing navigators, employment specialists, administration, finance, and more;
  • Management / Supervisory Level: supervisors, coordinators, program managers and directors, and similar positions;
  • Professional Level: with advanced degrees such as MSW, MPP, MPH, LCSW, certifications; and
  • Executive Level: senior management, Executive Directors, CEO/CFO/COO, and more.

Plus, City and County of L.A. workforce training organizations will also be onsite to help you build your interviewing and resume skills and offer tips on how to best engage employers for a successfully job match.

This jobs initiative is led in partnership with the City’s Workforce Development Board (WDB), the Economic and Workforce Development Department (EWDD), the County’s Workforce Development, Aging and Community Services (WDACS), host Los Angeles Trade–Technical College (LATTC), and the CSU5, comprised of the five California State Universities that serve the greater Los Angeles region. The Homeless Service Professionals Job Fair of Los Angeles is the second fair of its kind, following a successful event last December at Los Angeles City Hall, as part of our continued commitment to provide hiring support to all homeless service providers throughout the City and County of Los Angeles to help end the homelessness crisis.
