EmpowerLA hosted professors, public administrators and government officials visiting from Egypt, Iraq, Palestinian Territories, Saudi Arabia and Tunisia examining how Los Angeles promotes transparency and accountability in government. The guests engaged in dialogue and explored the roles citizens have in fostering good governance, ethical standards and accountability in the City, particularly through our Neighborhood Council system.
