Chief Charlie Beck has submitted a request to be considered for second five-year term. The Los Angeles Police Commission now has the responsibility to respond to that request, either positively or negatively, by August 20, 2014. You are invited to participate in the reappointment process by providing your input to the Los Angeles Police Commission at a community meeting or by writing to the Board of Commissioners.
The last public meeting will take place on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at 6:00pm.
