Los Angeles Adopts Sidewalk Vending Ordinance

Hundreds of people gathered at City Hall on November 28th to watch as the LA City Council voted unanimously to approve an ordinance that would legalize and regulate street and sidewalk vending in the City of Los Angeles.

Neighborhood Councils had a considerable voice on this issue, submitting a total of 32 Community Impact Statements on this matter since the City Council first introduced the motion in 2013.
