Deborah Ann Montgomery – I will fight hard for the Neighborhood business and home home owner to get the right information that is available to them
Michael Maloney – Current MINC board member and Business Representative for the La Cienega Arts District. Native Los Angeleno, art dealer and gallery business owner.
Moses Kagan – My family used to live in Miracle Mile. I’m ashamed to say we never knew our neighbors, despite living there for years. When we moved to Mid-City, on Pickford near Vineyard, we met our neighbors in days. Before, we thought we were buying a little apartment building; they taught us we were joining a community. Since those early days, we’ve danced to the band at the Farmer’s Market on Washington, bought candy for my son at Pickford Market, and eaten wonderful tacos at Tacqueria Jalisco. We’ve worked with neighbors to clean up trash and tagging. And we’ve helped a few neighbors with real estate questions (we’re in the business). Now, we’d like to get even more involved in helping make Mid-City better, while preserving the warm spirit of community that’s been here forever. Please consider voting for me and giving me the opportunity to serve.
Lora Davis – I’d love to work again on the MINC board. As the MINC Outreach Chair for the last 1 1/2 years, I spearheaded the postcard campaign so each and every MINC stakeholder receives information about our MINC meetings and other important events.
Armando Lopez – I am an active real estate investor and landlord in the Mid City area, and I am committed to further improve and develop this amazing pocket of Los Angeles. My goal is to contribute in a significant way and give back to the community.

Lorraine Genovese – I am running for re-election to the Mid-City Neighborhood Council® (MINC®) “General At Large Representative” seat. I want to remain a part of the MINC board so I can have the opportunity to continue to improve our community. I have lived here since 1999 and have seen many positive changes.I am the chairperson for the Design Advisory Ad-Hoc Committee, which has most recently accomplished the registration of our new MINC® logo and name of our neighborhood council. I have a design background so I am usually involved in artistic projects with MINC®. Lending my experience and knowledge where I can.We have just completed a board retreat. We all learned better ways to communicate amongst our board members and with our residents and businesses. I’m excited about putting these new tools into action.Please support me for another term.

Erick Morales – Dear Friends,I am asking for your support to elect me to a full term as a MINC General At-Large Board Member.I am MINC’s newest board member, having been appointed to a vacancy in November 2013. In the time since, I have served on MINC’s Budget and Outreach committees and participated in monthly board and stakeholder meetings. I have also been elected to serve as the MINC region’s representative to the citywide DWP-Neighborhood Council Advocacy and Oversight committees and the Los Angeles Neighborhood Council Coalition. I also serve as one of six South L.A. Neighborhood Council Budget Advocates, representing the area’s neighborhood councils on budget issues before the City Council and Mayor’s Office.I also volunteer in our community as President of the Friends of the Robertson Library and Parliamentarian of the L.A. That Wilshire Police – Clergy Council, a faith-based organization will be functioning, and praying with and for the law enforcement officers
Juana Rosa Cavero – I am dedicated to the families of Mid-City, I believe in the power of community and I am committed to service. My family and I moved into Mid-City, we were enveloped by caring neighbors, local business owners who remember us, and firefighters who inspire us to action everyday. I feel more than ever that I want to invest my skills to strengthen Mid-City. I will work to engage our multicultural neighbors, leverage our community assets to attract commerce and work with local government to improve our streets, schools and support businesses. I am an advocate with public policy, local government and community organizing experience. I have served on several non-profit boards and have been successful in creating effective strategic plans and budgets to achieve goals. I am excited for this new opportunity. My goal has been to identify and meet the varying needs of the families, nonprofits and businesses in our community. I am looking forward to comtinuing to implement ideas to improve commercial development while maintaining the historical integrity of our neighborhood. Safety, youth and senior activities and walkability are key to improving our region. My background in Television production has provided me with the tools to effectively coordinate and manage MINC projects. I need your vote and support to continue the fight.

I am the current MINC President.I look forward to working with our community partners to further develop and enhance our neighborhood, address the problems we face, and assist in being a voice in our City government. My goals for this coming term include putting together a cleanup along Washington Blvd. with CD-10, creating more great options for our neighbors to collaborate and socialize (we need more opportunities like the Farmers Market! – I’d like to see a picnic partnered with the LAPD for the National Night Out, and the establishment of a food truck happy hour), and reaching out more to our business community.Thank you for your vote.Sincerely,Michael

Angie King – Hello neighbors, I am Angie King, and I am proud to serve as your Region 5 Representative. Since my appointment in November 2013, I have advocated for pothole repairs, removal of bulky items, and street improvements like adding a left turn signal at La Brea and 20th. I will continue to be a voice for our neighborhood and support beautification projects & business development that enhance our community. I will promote community events & youth programs that bring unity in our neighborhood. I will work with city officials and law enforcement to ensure that our concerns are addressed. I was raised in the MINC Neighborhood Council and I take great pride & interest in the community’s growth & prosperity. I am a REALTOR, and I serve on the Board of Directors for the Southwest L.A. Assoc. of REALTORS. I would be honored to have your vote for Region 5 Representative.
Christina Marasigan Stern – I am running because, as a new mother, I find that I want to better the world my child grows up in and make her proud. I feel that MidCity has tremendous untapped potential, and I would like to help give voice to my neighbors’ issues and concerns.
