News from Field Operations 1.31.13

Dear Neighborhood Council (NC) leaders,

The Department’s Field Division has been busy making final transitions in regards to their regional Neighborhood Council assignments. We have been working on our training and education schedule, which we hope to roll out next week. In the meantime, please save the date for the upcoming Ethics & Open Government training on Thursday, February 21. The time and specific location will be announced shortly, but as of now, I can tell you that this session will be taking place in the San Fernando Valley with more to come on this subject.

On a different note, I would like to tell you that on Monday, February 4th, we are welcoming back Neighborhood Empowerment Advocate (NEA), Amber Meshack, as she returns to the Department from her temporary leave. Amber will return to Field Operations. She was assisting our Funding team all of last year so we are excited to have her back supporting and assisting Neighborhood Councils in the field.

As a reminder, our Field team is also assisting with contracts and leases on your behalf. If you have any pressing needs and/or specific questions on a pending contract or lease, please be sure to touch base with our office, and you will be routed to the appropriate person.

Have a wonderful rest of the week and a great weekend!
