Ken Bryant – I love being a member of the Neighborhood Council and having a vote when decisions are being made that effect the future of North Hollywood. North Hollywood is an up and coming place where the people are becoming more involved in their neighborhoods. I consider it an honor to be the representative for District 1.

Kevin MacKelvie – As Resident Representative for District 4, I have enjoyed working for the Stakeholders in our Neighborhood Council for the past two years. My many hours on these committees: Chairman of Communications/Outreach; Beautification; Planning, Land Use, Housing & Transportation; Public Safety & CERT, has given me a unique perspective on the many issues facing all who live and work in the North Hollywood area. Outreach to our large Hispanic community to encourage inclusivity, continuing reductions in crime through law enforcement, and general parking and transportation headaches in the NoHo Arts District are just a few of my many focuses. Confronting the challenges that surround us will take strong leadership to guide us. David R. KeeseyHI, my name is David Keesey and I am running for the District 5 Resident position. For the past 12 years I have been actively involved in attempt to make District 5 an area in which the residents can be proud. In 2011, I was co- coordinator of the clean up of the Vineland Walkway. Along with the tireless efforts of the MTNHNC Beautification Committee and Councilman Tom LaBonge’s office, we succeeded in bringing together over 60 volunteers to clean up the Vineland Walkway. I feel as a member of the neighborhood council, I will be in a better position to continue this project, along with the many other opportunities to cleanup and beautify NoHo.
Michael J. Galloway – As both a resident and worker in this district of Mid Town NoHo, I see and understand both the great opportunities as well as challenges that the area offers. With your vote I will move forward to help improve both awareness to and rectification of our trouble areas as well as enhance all the budding opportunities that are beginning to emerge.
Elena M. Fabri – I am passionate about this community. I have lived in North Hollywood for 5 years and I see so much potential and opportunity to grow the beauty of this area and increase our property values and offer more to the residents and renters here. Barbe Nance – I live and work in this area and are invested in proving incentives to improve this area, much which appears blighted at the moment. We want an active family friendly area to live, play and work in. We do not have to travel, this could be it for this area.

Yvonne Demery – My name is Yvonne Demery and I am currently serving my third term on the Board. During that time, I have been the chairperson of the Beautification Committee. In 2011, along with over sixty volunteers that included local schools, after-school program attendees, churches, etc., our committee successfully effected a cleanup of the Vineland Walkway. At our monthly meetings, we are organizing bulky item pickups for necessary areas when reported. Community involvement in this area is essential and welcomed at these meetings on the last Wednesday of each month.
Jose Palma – I am a firm believer in making Mid-town North Hollywood the next great area of the San Fernando valley. I have many great ideas in order to make North Hollywood a economic thriving center for the arts, transportation and overall the environment. I believe it important to speak with individuals and to listening to all members of the community. I hope to get a lot done and encourage others to participate in meetings. I hope to work together with other people in order to help all of mid-town noho to work together.

Ted Kriesel – I am a resident and operate a home based advertising agency business. I am a lifetime resident of North Hollywood with 2 years experience with neighborhood council. I have a vested interest and concern for the well being and on-going improvement of Mid-Town North Hollywood District 4. I am active in the community as a member or the Universal City /North Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.I am open to all community input on how we can shape North Hollywood to higher standards. I look forward to hearing from you and working together working to realize your ideas and finding solution to your concerns in the community.
Justin S. Pond – As President of The Art Institute of California – Hollywood, my campus serves approximately 1,800 college students studying design, media arts, and culinary career fields. We employ over 300 talented faculty and dedicated staff members, and help fill three area apartment complexes with over 300 full-time students from our Residential Life and Housing program. Our student-run restaurant, Fifty 2 Fifty, is managed by our chefs at The International Culinary School at The Art Institute of California – Hollywood, and open to the public for lunch. We are active in the community, and only getting started. We are proud to operate in NoHo, and look forward to continuing to help enhance the area, adding beauty, excellent food, and clientele for local merchants. There is untapped potential in our district, and I am excited at the prospect of continuing to lead positive change.
Janine A. Jordan – My name is Janine Jordan. For the last several years I have been running a small non-profit and currently run my non-profit from my new home in the North Hollywood Midtown 4th district. I am very passionate about the environment, music, art, and community building and I look forward to applying the passions into my new local community of North Hollywood. Through my non-profit, I recently threw a free electronics recycling drive at our local NoHo farmer’s market and hope to do more drives in the future. I would love to work on environmental awareness and action within our community (organizing fun beautification street cleaning) as well as participate with the rest of the board members on continuing to develop the NoHo Arts District as a cultural destination spot for both Angelenos and visitors. I will serve my community to the best of my ability and will appreciate your vote.
Lee_Jamieson_Reg4_MDNHNC_2014Lee Jamieson – I work in the Lankershim- Chandler area. I am a former member of the Mid Town Council. While on the council I would never miss a meeting or a work project. Karen C. Bajza – As a current resident and employee of a business located in Mid-Town North Hollywood, I would be honored to serve as the District 5 Business Representative. I graduated with a B.A. in Economics and a B.A. in Public Affairs and in my current position at BDI Development Group, a local small business, I have experience in community outreach and education as well as corporate relations and government affairs. I am passionate about my community and I will bring my attentive, yet optimistic approach to this role. My background, education, and experiences in leadership have prepared me to be an effective member of this council. I strongly believe in the power of collaborative work and am excited to use my expertise to serve the city and community of North Hollywood as your District 5 Business Representative.
Linda Kellogg Fulton – My name is Linda Fulton and I am running for the Business Seat in District 5 of the Midtown North Hollywood Neighborhood Council.I am running for the Neighborhood Council because I want to continue to make a difference in my community. I am currently the secretary of the NoHo BID and have for the last 7 years I was the owner of the Avery Schreiber Theater for 10 years, I’ve had a nonprofit working with North Hollywood disadvantaged youth for the last 15 years, and am currently bringing up to 40 new jobs in the North Hollywood Arts District.

Diann Corral – I grew up in North Hollywood and attended North Hollywood High School, completed a B.A. degree at CSULA and a Masters in Public Administration at CSUN. I am President of the Laurel Grove Neighborhood Association. I helped form the Mid Town North Hollywood NC and am past President and current Treasurer of Mid Town North Hollywood NC. Over the past 18 years I have held a number of neighborhood community events in North Hollywood, organized the planting of over 1,000 trees in North Hollywood, and obtained a number of Beautification Grants for the North Hollywood area. I also arranged for the installation of Chess tables at North Hollywood Park, Valley Plaza Park and Tiara Street Park. I am committed to improving North Hollywood and making it a beautiful neighborhood we can all be proud of.

Radomir Vojtech Luza – I am running for the District Two At-Large seat in the MTNHNC for the third straight time because not only do I want to make a difference, but I want to send a message to all Los Angelinos that the Neighborhood Council system works. We are taught by the city that the purpose of a neighborhood council is to reach-out to the community and have it reach back out to us. Yet we as passionate and fervent board members must also tend to the soul, heart and conscience of the community’s stakeholders. We must teach that only by serving others and tending to their needs will we ever grow as solid human beings.So it is in this election that I declare myself a man for others. A community activist whose sole purpose is to give so others can further that thinking in their lives.

Jayson T. Stonne – I have been an active member of the entertainment industry for 10 years and I would like to represent North Hollywood to build a relationship between the city and surrounding studios and production companies to increase revenue within city limits.
Jennifer Jackson – Native born Angeleno, Jennifer is the strongest candidate for district 4 neighborhood council . Her unwavering love for this city has grown as she herself witnessed the variety of changes to the community over the years, and felt their effects first hand. Jennifer is passionate and driven to have North Hollywood reach it’s true potential. Fully Invested in her town, Jennifer owns and operates a small coffee shop with her husband, where she interacts with local business owners and neighborhood residents one on one. This has given her a strong foundation of information about their concerns and hopes for our community. Jennifer would love nothing more then to lead North Hollywood in a continued positive direction and knows that the only way it will happen is if we work together.

Robert Peppermuller – I have been area 5 at-large for last 3+ years. During that time I have become involved in beautification, land use, public safety, and LADWP rep. Gloria Gold – I am a current member of the Neighborhood Council and have served the council vigorously since its inception. I thoroughly understand the councils needs and commitments and am prepared to continue my work therein. I believe that there is a need for someone with experience and a thorough knowledge of the history of the organization to be a current and active participant in the Neighborhood Council. Ernesto Hidalgo – I volunteer as Government and Community Affairs Representative for The Transit Coalition, which works to develop a safe, integrated, cost effective and environmentally sound public transportation system throughout Los Angeles. With NoHo recently recognized as the 3rd most walkable neighborhood in all of LA in part because of its Metro stations, bike lanes, and transit-oriented development, transportation is a driving force for North Hollywood to reach full potential as a dynamic, culturally advanced and livable world-class neighborhood. I also worked in redevelopment and serve on Oversight Boards for the dissolution of redevelopment agencies – the entities which helped to redevelop communities such as the NoHo Arts District – which provide me with great insight into the development our community. I’ve been living in North Hollywood for the past 15 years and presently serve as a Budget Representative for the neighborhood council.
Justine Visone – I have lived in North Hollywood since 1982, hailing from New York. I have been an Actor-Singer-teacher, for over 40yrs. in SAG-AFTRA serving on the Health Net Committee and Women’s Committee. Also served as Vice President of Women In Theatre, Synthaxis Theatre Board member, and Operation Love for helping the needy. As a Sub-teacher for the Public Pre-Schools for 14yrs. I enjoy working with children and helping parents. Creator-Director of the “Vision Acting Workshop” now 12 yrs. at the YMCA of NoHo, open to all dreamers of all ages. In 2004 received “Outstanding Citizenship Award, and in 2008, received Certificate of Appreciation from Councilmember Tom LaBonge for activities enhancing community betterment.” I hope to continue being active in the Community by expanding the Creative Arts in NoHo, and making it a better place for all. Mary A. Mann – As an author and scholar I am very interested in preserving and enhancing the reputation of the NoHo Arts District. For several years I have been assisting with the annual holiday festival for children at the North Hollywood Recreation Center in the North Hollywood Park and, representing the Synthaxis Theatre Company, with host Radomir Luza, I have been co-organizing the monthly UNBUCKLED NO HO POETRY readings. I would love to continue helping to expand our outreach into the community with enduring appreciation of the value and the significance of the arts in our daily lives. The Whitnall Hwy Dog Park lights will not ever go dark again, beacuse your voice was heard. The dangerous cross walk at Magnolia and Blakeslee will be safer after a new crossing system is installed, your concerns were heard. We have much more to do together. Carol A. Wyner – I was raised in NOHO since the age of three. I have enjoyed being involved in community affairs and service for over 20yrs.Have served on Board’s such as Hands4Hope, for over 9yrs, providing FREE after school enrichment programs. Successfully serving out communities as-risk youth (8-21) for 14yrs.Founding Board of Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission. Began 4yrs. ago gathering homeless from our local parks. We now have 4 shelters, inc. our 1st Mothers and Children’s Homeless shelter (41% of the homeless). Now feeding and providing programs for several hundred weekly.
Board of our Midtown Neighborhood Council 4 terms, inc. the following committees: Arts & Humanities, Budget & Finance, By-Laws and Outreach.
Lead NOHO Certified Farmers Market Project to a successful opening.

Joseph Shore-Goss – As a minister serving north Hollywood I am deeply concerned for our community. As a member of the neighborhood council I have reached out to the local business. Have worked on; Graffiti removal, The Christmas open house, the Children’s Christmas Party at the North Hollywood recreational center. I serve on the Arts and Humanities committee and the outreach committee. I also as a chaplain to the North Hollywood LAPD which allows me a unique vision of what is happening and needs to happen in the mid- town district.
In the coming years I hope to continue to work to bring our neighborhood renewal and connection. We are working on another neighborhood open house style event. I am looking to creating a North Hollywood toy drive that will help to guarantee a Christmas at the recreation center and will also assist the NOHO LAPD with their outreach efforts. I am open

David Govea – As a life-long resident of the San Fernando Valley and current resident of North Hollywood, I am privileged to have another opportunity to work with the Mid-Town North Hollywood Neighborhood Council. While serving as schools representative, I was previously appointed as Vice-President and currently sit on the Outreach Committee as well as serving as the Elections Committee co-chair. As an educator and business owner, my areas of interests span over a wide array of community issues including education, music & arts, as well as transportation issues.
