North Area Neighborhood Development Council Supports United Voices of Literacy youth reading program

The North Area Neighborhood Development Council (NANDC) recently gave a Neighborhood Purpose Grant to United Voices of Literacy (UVOL) for their USC ReadersPlus “Readers Are Leaders” program and reading competition. Check out the cute event video!

Readers Are Leaders focused on underperforming students at 32nd Street School. Students were able to read smoothly and without fear onstage in front of a crowd at the event, after participating in the program. Learn more about this story on the NANDC website.
