I have decided to lease a building in the Middle of Panorama/Mission Hills so that I could be near these two communities which I would like to serve. My business is located at 15545 Devonshire St. Mission Hills, CA 91345. Thank you.

After moving to Panorama City, I felt a strong desire to serve my new community, and in 2008 I joined our local Neighborhood Watch. My participation there led me to the Panorama City Neighborhood Council and I was appointed to my first term as an Alternate member. This position has served to whet my appetite to local public service. I have listened to, and observed the procedures of the Council and the issues that face Panorama City specifically and Los Angeles generally and I feel excited at the prospect of continuing my association with the Council as an elected member. I feel I have much more to offer.

Viviano Montes

Hector Galan

I haved lived in panorama city since 1997. I have moved away, but seem to find my way back to this city. I’m very proud of where I live. My goal is to have city officials pay attention at our city and give it a voice. My wife and I have done a lot of community service to create a better neighborhood.

I would like to run for a seat in the Panorama City Neighborhood Council to ensure my neighborhood is safe for my family, my neighbors and myself.

Michael Marquez

My qualifications for council include the following…homeowner and community contributor for a 10 year period in Panorama City. I have worked for the Postal Service as a Carrier in the San Fernando Valley for 25 years, serving as a safety captain and an active union member during this period. This experience allows me to hear the varying needs, disappointments and wants of the community and will enable me to have a strong voice for improving government responsibilities to our local communities. I strongly believe that citizen engagement in city government is vital to ensure that our voice counts as residents and business owners. My #1 priority is to make sure that “neighborhood empowerment” continues to have a platform for advocating the local issues and unifying the community needs.

Noel J. Olazaba

Gregory Wilkinson

My name is Greg and I for the first 25 years of my life Panorama City was my home. To this very day my dad still lives in that house on Hazeltine where Imost remember my childhood; from the wonderful dog I played with in the backyard to birthday parties and later to my home comings while I service in the US Marine Corps.

The very first fast-food restaurant Iever visited is the Carl’s Jr which is still on Roscoe. Over the years I have watched Panorama City grown and shrink in fortunes and in businesses. From the old Montgomery Wards to seeing the new Plant Shopping Center being build after GM closed the actual factory. I want to help propel our fair neighborhood back to its days of greatness. And with your help that is just what we will do together.

Jack Lindblad

I am running for Panorama City neighborhood council to continue on the neighborhood level of governance, to be accountable, transparent, with full disclosure in the advocacy, support and application of policies that build community, improve the quality of life, regain our educational excellence and competitiveness, and create a Green jobs, renewable energy economy – by continuing to contribute through my long-standing San Fernando Valley-based architecture practice, community organizing – having helped to form the Valley Glen and Panorama City neighborhood councils, running for our 39th Assembly District seat and my award-winning Panorama City Commercial Area revitalization plan approved by the City Council, signed by then Mayor Hahn and memorialized as Planning code for the community specific plan with Q conditions.

My work helps stop urban sprawl, Kelo-eminent domain, and gentrification, while advancing multi-modal rapid transit. Our call is to make government responsive and frugal while rejecting bureaucratic bloat and austerity.
