I supervised various engineering Project, Department, and Director Management positions. I am a 30 year member of American Legion Reseda Post 308 and served 4 years as Commander.I am currently a Reseda NC board member and 2nd Signatory/Assistant Treasurer, and Budget Representative. I Chair the Election Committee and also serve on the Finance, PLUM, and Vision committees.Being a member of the Reseda NC provides a forum to energize the community, promote the diverse Reseda neighborhoods, and work to generate a harmonious plan to improve the quality of life in Reseda. I conscientiously attend Board and Committee meetings including the Valley Alliance of NC’s (VANC) meetings, and meetings at City Hall.I would like to continue being a Board Member to promote Reseda, and would appreciate your vote.

In addition, I am certified in multi-cultural conflict mediation, have a Master’s Degree in Secondary Mathematics Education. I am an educator, and am bilingual (Spanish and English). I live in Reseda with my wife and two daughters.
Elizabeth Saldivar – I strongly believe in the voice and voting decisions made by our community stakeholders and that, they do make a difference in the decision making process in our local council city government. This is why I participated in the initial efforts of the creation of neighborhood councils throughout the San Fernando Valley. As an elected member of the first certified neighborhood council of West Hills and during my time serving in the West Hills Neighborhood Council as an elected board member I was able to serve our communities with a common representative voice.
I am asking for you vote. Please vote. Once more with your vote I will be given the opportunity to serve in the best interest of our community at large, our neighborhood council stakeholders and the City of Los Angeles.
Thank you for your vote.
Brandon Balderas
Ken Erbeznik – I am a Reseda resident doing volunteer work to improve the quality of life in our community. Presently I Chair the Reseda Neighborhood Council Transportation Committee and serve as a member of the Outreach Committee. My first task on the Outreach Committee was to bring the “I (heart) Reseda” message to the bus benches around town. A community desire for local art shows led me to find a donor to provide free gallery space for the first ‘pop up’ art show in Reseda. As Chair of the Transportation committee I work with committee members on issues that benefit Reseda’s residents and businesses. It’s possible you’ve seen us wielding brooms on Sherman Way on the third Saturday of each month along with volunteers from the Beautification Committee and C-PAB. My goal, if elected, is to work with community organizations, city agencies and officials to improve the quality of life throughout Reseda.
Trudi Schoolhouse – I am a resident of Reseda. I would love to help our city to host more ongoing activities for our neighborhood. Also, I would love to help clean our City streets of old furniture and other trash. Something needs to be done. I love my little town Reseda, but it has become not the quite, cute city it once was. Trash litters the streets and I am embarrassed of how it has become. Let’s do something about this. Look how No Ho has become nice, restaurants were you can sit outside and have dinner, street fairs, theatre, they have cleaned up and now upscale stores and restaurants want to be there Lets do the same for Reseda!
Paul Beulke

I will offer my ideas, leadership and connections within Los Angeles County to help accomplish this goal.Raul Estravit, C.O.O.

I am a RNC Transportation Committee member, and attend as many RNC meetings as I can to keep up with what is happening in our neighborhood. I will continue to be a part of the NC as long as I am able. I love Reseda and the wonderful people who call this place home.

As a representative of M.T.O., we are proud to be a part of Reseda’s warm and friendly community. We hope our pride as a member of Reseda’s community, shows as we have established and happily maintained the beautiful building and surrounding areas of our school. We would love to be more actively involved in the Reseda Neighborhood Council to partner together with other members who love Reseda and further strengthen our community.

We hope our pride as a member of Reseda’s community, shows as we have established and happily maintained the beautiful building and surrounding areas of our school. Morgan Varela – I have been living in Reseda ever since the Northridge Quake, I love the city and really want to make my city one of the best in the San fernando Valley. I own and operate a collectable store in another city, but would love to open a second location here and help the community become more adverse…thank you for your consideration.
C.R. Cochrane – I am excited to announce my candidacy. Reseda has a rich history, spanning over 100 years, and the residents have a long standing relationship with local law enforcement, businesses, schools, churches and civic entities. This vested interest is demonstrated as the residents come out to ensure that their views are considered. I am inspired by the active involvement of the community and as a board member, I would ensure that the community remain well informed. As Reseda experiences an increase in economic development, it is imperative that a business relationship with local merchants, restaurant owners, and related service companies continue. I would require that the developers offer employment opportunities to Reseda residents. As a former Social Worker and original “valley girl” I have watched Reseda thrive and develop into a great community for families and merchants. As a board member I would ensure that this practice continue.
Ralph G. Solis (WITHDREW)
Lorena Salazar –I am a Valley Girl at heart, graduated from St. Catherine of Sienna back when skate parks, roller rinks and the Reseda Country Club was the place to see live music. I recieved my B.A. and M.A. at Cal State Northridge before continuing on to do educational research in Santa Barbara and San Francisco. My return to Reseda two years ago was going to be temporary, yet I haven’t found another place in LA that feels more like home. I have been wanting to get involved for some time now, and look forward to working towards creating a comunity that has ammenities and fun for the young professionals, families, and elderly alike. I wouldlike to see more green space, increased revitalization in Reseda, and community spaces for us to shop at a farmers market, browse a bookstore and share a meal at an outdoor cafe.
