On Tuesday, April 10, 2018, the Downtown Los Angeles Neighborhood Council hosted a job fair at San Julian Park in Skid Row. More than 750 people attended, and more than 100 people were able to secure a job! The event was an overwhelming success.

Employment and help building career skills were available for both the homeless and those seeking to help with homeless services. Over 30 companies and organizations were on hand for this event. The Downtown Los Angeles Neighborhood Council, or DLANC, hosted the event in partnership with Skid Row Coffee, Midnight Mission, the Historic Core BID, Councilmember Jose Huizar, and Assemblymember Miguel Santiago. Their efforts helped put the event together, including the donation of water, coffee, food, tables, table cloths, and chairs.
