Attend the debate between incumbent Democratic representative Matt Dababneh and Republican candidate Susan Shelley on October 6th and learn about how they plan to represent the 45th District. The new representative will be a key player in helping to manage funds and determine economic development for most of the cities in the western San Fernando Valley, among other leadership duties. Also that night, the League of Women Voters will describe: Proposition 1, also known as the Water Bond, that would authorize $7.12 billion in general obligation bonds for state water supply infrastructure projects; Proposition 46, also known as the Medical Malpractice Lawsuits Cap and Drug Testing of Doctors Initiative; and Proposition 48, known as the Referendum on Indian Gaming Compacts.
