The Status of Women and Girls in California is a 2018 Report by the Center for the Advancement of Women at Mount Saint Mary’s University that focuses on Women in the Workforce. This report highlights the workforce conditions for women and looks at obstacles and biases that continue to undermine professional opportunities for women in California. The Center has developed focused research reports for nonprofits, foundations, corporations and government agencies. On page 13 of the report you can find some details about women in politics in California and on page 23 there are numbers on gender parity in State Government in California. This report shows that we still have a long way to go to achieve gender and pay equality for women in California. We need to push a little harder to get there as we are on the right path.
