Always at the forefront of sustainability efforts in Los Angeles, Mar Vista will host a Water Wise Expo on Sunday, March 29, during the Mar Vista Farmers’ Market from 9am to 2pm.

Learn simple ways to save water and money in your home and garden through smart gardening techniques, conservation measures, and rebates and incentives aimed at encouraging homeowners to reduce water use.

LA is still facing a historic drought. Low levels of rainfall, an unusually warm winter, and little snowmelt all contribute to reduced supplies of fresh water and increase the ever-present need for conscientious use of water resources. By taking small steps to conserve in our homes and businesses, we can reduce our dependence on imported water and find new ways to reuse and recycle precious rainwater.

The Mar Vista Farmers’ Market takes place every Sunday at the corner of Grand View and Venice Blvd and features produce, prepared foods, and crafts from local vendors.
