Resilience is the ability to bend and grow – rather than break – during times of stress and strain. West Adams Neighborhood Council is sponsoring two Community Resilience Workshops on Tuesday, June 19th and Thursday, June 28th. You are welcome to attend one or both events.

Each of these 3-hour workshops is designed to educate community members about adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and their relationship to trauma, trauma impacts on health and well-being throughout the lifecycle and multiple pathways for healing, including using the Community Resilience Model (CRM). Dr. Brenda Ingram, Clinical Social Worker and trauma specialist, will lead both workshops.

Both workshops take place 5:30 – 8:30 PM. Refreshments and door prizes will be featured! Attendance is free, but your RSVP is appreciated, to ensure there are enough refreshments for everyone. Register now at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/community-resilience-workshop-tickets-46900190733
