Jorge Alberto Garcia – My name is Jorge Garcia, I have been providing Real estate services to the Latino community for the past ten years, during the time, I have had the opprotunity to closely participate and sponsor some of the traditional celebrations that are part of our culture. As professional, throughout dealing with peaople of all ethnic groups; I have acquire some skills that I hope will be of great assistance to achieve our mission.
My work experiences started during my young age working for a manufature in the City of Redondo Beach, eventually and after the fulfillment of college studies I accepted the position as a Pre-kinder teacher in little Tokyo area, from where eventually initate my Real Estate carrier in 1990. As Real estate professional, I was manager assistant at Bona Real Estate Downy office, where afterward was appointed to become a manager at the Lawndale office. |
Nelson A. Castillo – My name is Nelson A. Castillo. I am the founding president of the Westlake South Neighborhood Council (WSNC) and seek your support in my reelection to continue the community work I’ve been doing.I am passionate about making our community a better place. I believe in helping others so that together we can all succeed.Under my leadership, the WSNC has awarded more than $20,000 in grants to local non-profits, such as Centro Latino for Literacy, Esperanza Immigrant Rights Program and El Rescate to help their work in our community. We’ve also conducted Immigration Legal and Health Fairs that helped hundreds of individuals.I am a dedicated and experienced immigration attorney who has volunteered with many non-profits, including KIND and CARECEN and has worked tirelessly to help immigrants.
