Neighborhood Council elections are open to everyone who who lives, works or owns real property in the neighborhood and also to those who declare a stake in the neighborhood as a community interest stakeholder, defined as a person who affirms a substantial and ongoing participation within the neighborhood council’s boundaries and who may be in a community organization such as, but not limited to, educational, non-profit and/or religious organizations.

Everyone must register to vote each election season – even if you’re already registered to vote in national elections or have voted in Neighborhood Council elections in the past. You may register online by clicking the Voter Registration button below on this page. If online registration is closed or if you prefer voting in person, you may register & vote on Election Day at the polling location given on this page.
In order to vote, you must provide the following when you register online or at the polls:
- A photo ID that establishes your identity
- Documentation that shows that you live, work, own, or have a substantial and ongoing participation. (In some cases, your photo ID might cover both requirements.) Whatever you provide must show an address within the council boundaries. Learn more and see a list of accepted IDs & qualifying documents HERE.
