Noemi Madrigal – As a resident of Southeast Los Angeles for the past 30 years I have experienced a lot. Many wonderful things and some I prefer not to recall. What I do want to do is leave a better community for my two small children to live in. The only way to accomplish this is to lead by example. Working at the Watts Towers Arts Center for 27 years has taught me that Watts houses a true national treasure in the Watts Towers. We should be proud. For the past 3 years I have been involved with the Spanish Community Police Advisory Board. This requires us to work closely with local clergy, the Los Angeles Police Department and Council Districts 8 and 15. I would love to be considered for Co-Chair position of this Empowerment Congress Neighborhood Council.
