Voting in the Sherman Oaks Neighborhood Council election is open to everyone 18 years of age or older on the Election Day who is a stakeholder in one of the council regions that is having an election this year. A “stakeholder” is someone who lives, works, owns property, or has an ongoing and significant participation within the council boundaries. Regions 1, 2, 3, 5, 6 & 7 are holding elections this year – see a council regional map HERE. To vote, you must register at the polls before casting your ballot. Everyone must register, even if you are already registered for national elections or have voted in a Neighborhood Council election in the past.
Election Day is Thursday, April 7th. To vote, you must bring document(s) to the polls that establish two things: 1) your identity 2) the relationship you have to the neighborhood that qualifies you to vote there.
