The LA Marathon is a health and fitness company that has established ties into improving our neighborhood and community. For the 4 years we’ve produced and promoted the Marathon, we’ve underwritten the widely successful Students Run LA program that has trained over 8,000 LA Unified High School students to run and finish the LA Marathon. Over that same time period we worked closely with more than 80 official charities that have raised over $7 million dollars for mostly Los Angeles based charities. Our Mission Statement is ‘we inspire individuals and connect communities’. We are a leading U.S. running organization dedicated to transforming lives through year-round resources and events while serving and connecting communities. We want to be more engaged in the goal of greater health and wellness for our neighborhood.
