LAPD & Bureau of Street Services Team Up!
To keep the Bureau on the cutting edge of pavement preservation, the Street Resurfacing Division performed quality control training at the LAPD Edward M. Davis Training Facility on August 3rd. Crews repaved LAPD’s training facility while learning how to operate state-of-the-art technology for profiling and paving. With machinery from Caterpillar Inc., the Bureau’s crews will now utilize new sensor technology that allows them to pave smoother streets. The Bureau is proud to invest in employee training as their refined skills will benefit Los Angeles drivers greatly.
