Join de LaB on Friday, November 7 as we bring together designers and city leaders working to transform Los Angeles. The day’s focus will be on urgent issues that Los Angeles faces in the areas of water, transportation, density, and community and how designers, architects, and artists are making a difference in their neighborhoods.

Held at the historic Los Angeles River Center and Gardens in Cypress Park, Making LA will be a unique event where creative leaders from across Los Angeles will share best practices and investigate new ways to make their burgeoning civic projects a reality.

Made possible by an ArtWorks grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, Making LA hosted ten free programs throughout the city between fall 2013 and fall 2014 focused on designers and architects working closely with community and civic leaders to improve Los Angeles. The series culminates with the Making LA conference, a one-day event that unites designers and urban leaders around four key areas for Los Angeles.
