Richard B. Tocher – For 15 years my family and I have lived in M. H. I’ve watched my town become a garbage dump and our homeless population increase. Given the opportunity I’ll push to open our Brand Park community building. Partnering with our community’s senior population we will work to develop outreach programs to insure the homeless know what resources are available. I will lead the way to develop school credit-for-work experience youth programs getting our neighborhood cleaned up and increase graduation rates at Kennedy High School. Together we will raise awareness of, and use, the 1-800 TIP LINE to report dumping in our neighborhood. We need Gap Analysis and Brainstorming! Not more stifling neighborhood council meetings that produce little results regarding the issues I’ve mentioned. IT HAS TO STOP AND THE TIME IS NOW! I’m asking for your help.
Maribell Carrillo – I have lived in Mission hills for 10 years & have been a part of the neighborhood watch program & have participated in the clean up & beautification of our city. My goal is to make Mission Hills a much better community for our youth.
