Do you want to save a tree from removal?
The first step is to look at the UFD tree removal notices.
The Neighborhood Council Sustainability Alliance is making this easy.
On the NCSA website you can clock on the name of your Neighborhood Council and see the addresses for which Urban Forestry has approved a request for removal.
There are also suggestions for challenging the removal.
Go to http://ncsa.nationbuilder.com/trees
Scroll down and you will see each NC listed.
Click on the NC and you will see a list of addresses beginning in January 2018 that have removal notices.
Click on an address and the full page of the UFD removal request will appear. It includes contact information for the property owner and the reason for the removal.
