I have been an active member in the community for just as long and volunteered in many capacities through out the city, including parliamentarian on a world wide organization. I believe that my experience and skills as a community facilitator/mediator as well as fluency in Spanish can be used to serve this diverse community.

Danielle Kelley for Park MesaDanielle Kelley – I have been an active member of the Park Mesa Heights’ community since I moved into the area, as a child, in 1976. Since then I have been a business owner (Leimert Park), consultant in LAUSD and CUSD for over ten years, active member on several grassroots projects serving the community, served the victims of rape and violent crime in this community as a volunteer and professional for over twenty five years, and raised two beautiful children in View Heights home for over nineteen years.
JabariJumaaneJabari Jumaane – I began my service in this community now known as Park Mesa Heights in 1986. It was my pleasure then, as it is now to do my part to keep safe and improve the standard of living for our residents.First serving this community as a firefighter and now for the last 14 years as a community programs director, I am fully vested in the present and future success of our community. I also bring a nearly 30 year background which includes experience in new construction, fire life safety and community outreach as well.My objective as the At-Large representative is to work with the Board and citizens of Park Mesa Heights to continually improve the overall quality of life in our neighborhood council district and make Park Mesa the “shining jewel” of districts in Los Angeles that people point to as one of the desirable districts to live in.

Khalillah_Marie_Johnson_Reg10_PMHNC_2014Khalillah Marie Johnson – I have lived in the Park Mesa Heights Neighborhood for all of life, except for my time away at college, and it would be an honor to serve as the Youth and Education Representative for this Neighborhood Council. Given my extensive background in community organizing, working with inner city youths as well as holding numerous leadership positions, I know that I will serve as an asset to not only the council but the Park Mesa Heights Neighborhood as a whole.
