Become a Neighborhood Council Youth Representative

Once you’ve found your Neighborhood Council, take a look at the lists below to see if they have a Youth Representative position for you. Some Neighborhood Councils have elected Youth Representative seats, meaning you will need to register and run as a candidate in this spring’s elections. Others have appointed positions, meaning you should reach out directly to the Neighborhood Council president to identify next steps. Some Neighborhood Councils do not have Youth Representative seats, but allow those under the age of 18 to run for any Board position – in this case, take a look at the election website and see if there is a good seat for you!
