Uranga – As a ten year resident of Northridge, a former student and professor at California State University in Northridge, and 25 year Professor of Political Science at Pasadena City College, I delare my intention to represent the At-Large Northridge West Neighborhood Council vacancy for three main reasons: 1. I am concerned about local safety and home invasions occurring inside our city; 2. I wish to maintain the beautification efforts of the present board; 3. I will emphasize local business growth and job creation for our community. I have taught about civic education and duty for the past 25 years. Its time to put theory into practice. Whether it is Win-Win, Mutual Gains Bargaining or hard old-fashioned tough-headed bargaining. My experience tells me
