EmpowerLA does lots of communication via email, hence it is important that our board member database is up-to-date. We only use the emails that have been provided to us via rosters@empowerla.org.

To make sure we have your correct email address, please go to your EmpowerLA – Neighborhood Council webpage (find it here); scroll down, and look for your name. Then click on the word “Email” next to your name. You should now see your email address. If this is the email you intended for us to use, great! Otherwise, please email rosters@empowerla.org with your first name, last name, neighborhood council, and the new email address.

If you were directed to this article from our Election Newsletter, chances are we have your correct email address. However, if your fellow board members did not receive the election newsletter, please share this article and ask them to send in their updated info to rosters@empowerla.org.

FAQ
What will I miss out on if EmpowerLA does not have my correct email address? Weekly newsletters, new Neighborhood Council procedures, all types of workshop invites (funding, ethics, code of conduct, outreach, etc.), event invites, essential updates, and more!

My email is listed correctly on the EmpowerLA website, but I’m still not receiving any emails from EmpowerLA. If your email is listed correctly on your EmpowerLA webpage and you are still not receiving any emails from us, then it is likely that our emails are going to your spam or promotional folder, or you have previously unsubscribed from our mailing list. To ensure our emails go straight to your inbox, add the domains EmpowerLA.org and LACity.org to your safe sender list. (If you don’t know how to do this, Google “add email to safe list” + your email client, such as Google, Yahoo, AOL, etc., and follow the directions for adding a domain to a safe sender list). If you have previously unsubscribed, and are not receiving our weekly newsletter, please click here.
