To address Neighborhood Council resource needs identified at a drought action stakeholder engagement workshop held in May, the NCSA has just launched — with support from the U.S. EPA and the North American Association for Environmental Education — a project to develop a pilot online learning community for Neighborhood Councils, related to water conservation resources and best practices. The project runs from now until the end of the year. We invite Neighborhood Council stakeholders with an interest in online collaboration tools and/or water conservation, and who can commit 4+ hours a month (mostly virtually), to join our project team! For more information, please send us a note: NCSA@EmpowerLA.org.
