Attention Los Angeles Entrepreneurs, Non-Profits, & Small Business Owners

If you are a low-income entrepreneur, small business, or non-profit in Los Angeles, Public Counsel may be able to provide you with FREE legal assistance!

Public Counsel’s Community Development Project (CDP) helps build healthy, economically stable communities by providing services to local small businesses, non-profits, and low-income entrepreneurs within underserved areas of Los Angeles County. This is part of their belief that these businesses provide critical jobs and social services to the community, but often cannot support payment of legal fees. The CDP’s staff and volunteers can assist you on a wide range of issues such as incorporation, lease negotiation, and tax-exemption, among others.

How do I sign up?
The Community Development Project requires prospective clients to complete the appropriate application in order to determine eligibility for legal assistance.
