Downtown LA Neighborhood Council’s Wendell Blassingame was recently profiled in the LA Times for his tireless work helping the homeless on Skid Row. Wendell has made his role as Chair of DLANC’s Urban Needs & Resources Committee part of his advocacy efforts, and his committee has organized and implemented projects like DLANC’s Skid Row Job Fair this past spring, which helped over 100 people secure employment. Thank you to Wendell and our other Neighborhood Council members who work hard to help our homeless neighbors!
