Calling all Drop Defenders,

Angelenos, you’ve put in a lot of hard work to help save the Drop.
That’s why the City of Los Angeles and the Mayor’s Fund for Los Angeles have launched “Drop Defenders, a campaign to recognize all the great work you’re doing to conserve water while sharing your shining examples. For all you super-savers out there, this is your chance to tell us how you have saved water.

Got a green thumb? Maybe you’ve cut down on watering your lawn or switched to drought-tolerant landscaping.

Are you a do-it-yourselfer? Maybe you’ve installed a cistern or rain barrel as the perfect accessory for your water-conscious home.

Or maybe you’re the indoorsy type, and have been taking shorter showers – installed a low-flow toilet or turned off the water while brushing your teeth?

Whatever you’re doing, the Drop wants to hear about it.

Submit your story today at SavetheDropLA.org and tell all your family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors to vote for your entry.

The top water saving ideas from every corner of the city will receive a special prize.

As these drought conditions are sticking around, we must continue to do even more and show others how they too defend the Drop.

Visit SavetheDropLA.org to learn more, ENTER TO WIN, and be named a top Drop Defender.
