The LA-32 Neighborhood Council’s Elections and Voter Engagement Committee will host the only Northeast-area candidate forum during a Joint Special Meeting of LA-32 Neighborhood Council’s Elections and Voter Engagement Committee and General Board.

The LA-32 Neighborhood Council’s Elections and Voter Engagement Committee invites the candidates for State Senator 22th District race, Ed Hernandez and Marc Rodriguez,the candidate for State Senator 24th District race, Peter Choi, and the candidates for State Assemblymember of the 51st District race, Jimmy Gomez and Stephen C. Smith, to participate in this candidate forum. The State Assemblymember candidates will address the stakeholders prior to the State Senator candidates.

Each candidate will be given 15 minutes to introduce themselves to our stakeholders and outline their platform. Following the two introductions there will be 40 minutes of questions by stakeholders. The stakeholders will submit their questions in writing at the meeting and each candidates is allotted two minutes to respond. After questions, candidates are invited to stay and talk to stakeholders. We will conclude our event by 9:00pm.
