Found a lost pet? Now you can get them onto the LA Animal Services website to help reconnect them to their owner, without turning the pet over to the shelter. Instead, those who find and file a report and photos about the lost pet can temporarily care for the pet in their own home, thanks to a recent amendment to LA City ordinance 186287. This provides better support for an anxious or traumatized pet, and keeps life-saving space open in the shelters. Learn more at http://LAAnimalServices.com/found-pet
