If you are able and willing to adopt or foster animals, please go to the closest LA City Animal Services Center to help create life-saving space during the high winds and fires currently affecting Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, Camarillo, and the western part of Los Angeles County. This is an EMERGENCY!

L.A. Animal Services has been requested through Mutual Aid from LA County Animal Control to assist in evacuating Malibu. Animal Services has sent their horse trailers and some of their Volunteer Emergency Equine Response Trailer Teams while LAPD mounted trailer teams were deployed to the staging area.

Animal Services is taking in evacuated LA county animals at their East Valley, West Valley and West Los Angeles shelters.

Again, if you can adopt or foster, please go to the closest LA City Animal Service Center to help create life-saving space.
