The Mission Hills Neighborhood Council, as well as its many stakeholders, have been working diligently together to re-establish quorum on the Mission Hills Neighborhood Council Board. I am pleased to report that their efforts have resulted in a very successful Candidate Forum and Selection that was well attended by the community and it’s candidates. Due in large part to their incredible dedication to their community, we are welcoming 9 new Board Members to the Neighborhood Council on February 6th.
The Valley Alliance of Neighborhood Councils Resource Board, which assisted with both the Candidate Forum and the Selection completed last Friday, have been an integral part of the success of both events. They volunteered their time for another community that is not their own, and it goes to show the spirit of the Neighborhood Council system is alive and well in the Valley.
