The Ethics Commission is conducting a review of the City’s Municipal Lobbying Ordinance (MLO).  As part of this review, we are seeking input from the public and the regulated community.  We will be holding two interested persons meetings on September 9 and 17 at City Hall, where Ethics Commission staff will be on hand to hear your perspectives on the law!

To make sure we can accommodate all interested persons, please RSVP by September 4, 2015 to ethics.policy@lacity.org.

The MLO was first adopted in 1994 and regulates registration, conduct, and disclosure by persons who lobby the City.  The MLO can be found on the Ethics Commission’s website.  Information about the City’s lobbying entities is also available online.

Your comments are extremely valuable and will help the Ethics Commission shape these important laws.  If you are unable to attend either meeting, comments can be emailed at any time to ethics.policy@lacity.org.

Thank you for making a difference!
