Mills Act Workshop: Potential Tax Incentive for Historic Properties

The Department of City Planning (DCP) is offering a workshop on how owners of historic properties can apply for Mills Act consideration. The City of Los Angeles’ Mills Act Historical Property Contract Program is a highly competitive, property tax incentive program for owners of Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monuments or Contributors to an HPOZ. As part of the program, each year DCP accepts applications for new contracts and holds a workshop for prospective applicants.
City Planning is holding a workshop for the 2019 Mills Act cycle on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 6:30pm at the Barnsdall Gallery Theater. Please RSVP for the workshop by Monday, January 7, 2019, at http://bit.ly/2iisjZW. A printable event flyer may be downloaded by clicking here.
The Mills Act Part 1 application forms will be available on the City Planning website at the beginning of January. To learn more about this workshop, please visit the Facebook event page, at: https://www.facebook.com/events/214600019417727/.
