South Coast Air Quality Management District is hosting a Town Hall meeting on the Sunshine Canyon Landfill next Thursday evening April 21st in Granada Hills. The meeting is being held to discuss air quality and odor issues related to the landfill, which is located in Sylmar. The meeting will feature:

– Status of Sunshine Canyon Landfill’s permit and operations
– Update regarding efforts to reduce odors
– Opportunity for the public to ask questions of panel members

The SCAQMD is the government agency responsible for protecting your health from the impacts of air pollution. They believe that everyone should have equal protection. Please join them for this meeting.
