The DCR (Department of Cannabis Regulation) is entering into the third phase of their Retail and Delivery Licensing process which is available only to folks in the City of Los Angeles who qualify as SEP (Social Equity Program) applicants. Importantly, all potential applicants must have their social equity status verified by the DCR before they are able to apply for the third phase of licensing which begins on September 3, 2019. As such, the DCR has opened the SEP Eligibility Verification Process earlier this week and it will stay open through July 29, 2019.

From the Department of Cannabis Regulation:

“In anticipation of beginning the 3rd phase of general licensing this fall, the Department will be hosting a series of workshops over the Summer to provide interested applicants more information about the Department’s licensing process and the City’s Cannabis Social Equity Program (SEP) and verification process. As such, we are excited to partner with the Mayor’s Office, Council President Herb Wesson of Council District 10, and Councilmember Curren Price of Council District 9 on Wednesday, June 5th from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Nate Holden Performing Arts Theater located in the Ebony Repertory Theater. You can find information about this event here and RSVP here.”
